Weekending....

We had such a beautiful weekend we worked in the yard most of the weekend....but also found a little time to go to the craft store. I bought a few skeins of yarn Loops and Threads in Soft Taupe I want to make this cowl. I also bought a skein of Bernat Alpaca in Fern I am not sure what I am going to make with this but I loved the color and how soft it is.

 I am getting excited about the holiday season and thought I would give felt ornaments a try? I have always liked the look of old fashion ornaments and these cute Gingerbread Houses....I couldn't pass them up...smile.. We always decorate our Christmas tree with a lot of homemade ornaments...I'm excited to add a few of these to our tree this year. I also wanted to share this Gooseberry patch Christmas book I borrowed it from the library...there are so many cute things to make... if you happen to be at your library be sure to pick it up and look through it. I bet there just might be something you might like to make for the holiday season.
