I spent this morning reading Gods word...there is so much in the news lately that is so nice to go back and look at God's promises... I took this picture a few days ago and although there is no green leaves on the trees just yet... the trees are planted near the water....I have seen this creek go dry for many weeks on end ...and the trees are still the same as if there were water in it all the time.
There is so much in this passage of scripture but what I notice this morning is the wording of Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him....Not only should we trust but we should be confident that He will take care of us......I know for a fact that God is taking care of us...I have seen him work in my life and other peoples lives around me.
I have decided to keep a prayer journal by my bed ...I am not using this journal as a diary but as journal to only keep prayers in ....at bed time I think back about my day and think of who I saw or what I might have heard about someone and I add that persons name to my list and beside each name is a prayer request. I have done this for a week now....I have so many names in my journal..some of the people I don't know personally... I see them and just know that they need prayer so they are placed in my prayer journal. There was a lady on the news on Monday that passed away suddenly leaving her husband to raise their 12 children..her husbands name is on my list. On Easter morning there was a young lady with her Mother that was so uncomfortable being in church her name is on my list....no I might not know her exact name she is given the name girl with the head band....but God knows her name..smile.. For some reason it feels good to write each name down and having that confidence that God hears each name brought to Him.........
